Billings featured Wet Nose Wednesday pet will steal your heart.

Corgi's are such fun little dogs. With their cute little stubby legs and loving personality, they make great pets. Today, Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter in Billings brought us Tony the 'Cowboy Corgi'. He has a last name too... Little Feet. Appropriate for a short-stature dog.

Tony is just a pup.

Derek Wulf, Humane Outreach Coordinator at YVAS said Tony is about 12 weeks old. Tony and his litter mates were recently surrendered and all of the pups are ready to adopt now. The shelter currently has a total of 10 puppies, so if a young dog is what you're looking for, stop by the shelter and find a new friend.

A big dog in a small package.

Tony is quite calm and loves to cuddle. He's got great markings and is a very handsome little dog. Corgis are low-riders (usually only reaching 12" tall at the shoulder), but surprisingly quick. They are considered herding dogs and the American Kennel Club describes the fun-loving breed as "a big dog in a small package."

From puppies to mature dogs, the selection of adoptable pets is always changing at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter. You can browse the latest inventory of dogs, cats, and "micro pets" HERE.

If you're not in the position to adopt a new dog, there are other ways you can support YVAS. With their kennels currently overflowing with puppies, they have a need for puppy pads. The shelter will always accept dog food (even partially used bags) and soft cat food too.
