School Supplies Are Crazy Expensive

One of my favorite things about going to school as a kid was getting my school supplies. I loved that I got to write my name on all my markers and pencils etc. I enjoyed the heck out of picking out what I wear for the first day, and putting my backpack by the front door with my new kicks (shoes) right next to it ready to go.

I have to say after I looked at the list of what the schools need each kid to bring. Dang. How do you parents afford it?! Especially if you have more than one kid! I went to one of our local stores and picked up some of the lists for different schools. It was nuts how wiped out the supplies were this early. So high five to all the parents who have to make this happen!
