If rat poison came in a pretty pink bottle with flowers on it, would you drink some?

Well, fentanyl is appearing in Montana in a pretty pink pill, and the result could be the same as the rat poison.

Billings Police Chief Rich St. John and U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich for the District of Montana released a serious warning for everybody about the pastel killer.  This pink fentanyl is a synthetic opioid with significantly more potency than heroin or morphine.

It is more potent than the blue fentanyl, which means it is more dangerous!

Translated, one pill can kill you.  Mixing this stuff with other drugs can kill you.

Actually, like any other processed food or drug, these synth opioids like fentanyl can come in any shape or color.  They can make them look like cartoon characters to entice kids or adults.

What Should You Do?

U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich for the District of Montana has a good piece of advice, "Please don't take any pill that is not prescribed to you by a medical professional."

Pretty straightforward.  If anyone, Anyone, offers you a pill outside of a doctor's office, clinic or hospital, turn it down at once!  I don't care if they're a bestie from school days, that hot lady or man at the party, a distant cousin, or your neighbor.  Unless it's from a pharmacy and you have a prescription, don't touch the stuff!

Remember, if you see something, say something.  If you discover these pink pills with someone you know or don't know, get the hell away from it!  Then call your local police department at once.  You can also phone in tips to Crimestoppers at 406-245-6660.
