Another Drunk Pedestrian In Billings Gets Hit By Car

An apparently drunk pedestrian got hit by a driver yesterday around Central and 17th. This seems to be a frequent problem of late and I'm not sure what can be done about it. A couple of weeks ago, we had a lady struck by a vehicle downtown on Division. Honestly, I'm glad these people are choosing not to get behind the wheel of a car when they're intoxicated, but it's definitely something I hope to never be involved in.

If you see somebody staggering around on or near the road, I say call the cops. I hate to ruin somebody's fun, but I sure as hell don't want them under my tires either. Last I heard, this latest victim didn't receive any life threatening injuries, so that's a good thing. I am not trying to come off like I'm judging this person. I've been too drunk to drive and too poor to get a ride before, too. At a minimum, let's all try to keep an eye out for the overly partied.
