Billings police responded to an armed robbery in the 500 block of Chokecherry Place on Wednesday afternoon around 4:46 PM, per a post on the department's official Facebook page. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the suspect had already fled the scene, along with the vehicle involved in the incident.

During the initial investigation, authorities were able to gather a detailed description of both the suspect and the vehicle, which was shared with all officers on duty.

About an hour later, a Billings Police Department officer spotted the suspect vehicle and attempted a traffic stop. However, the vehicle fled the scene, leading officers on a brief pursuit.

The vehicle was eventually found abandoned in an alley in the 600 block of Avenue C. Witnesses observed four individuals fleeing from the vehicle, and police quickly detained three of them. The fourth person, believed to be the robbery suspect and the driver of the stolen vehicle, remains at large.
