Spring is right around the corner

And that means planting season is upon us. It's my favorite time of year as the sun starts to rise earlier and set later. The budding trees and flowers are magical and so good for our mental health. If you love to garden and take care of house plants, this one is for you. OR even if you're looking to start adding plants to brighten up your home- this is for you!

Pothos: You know, the long viney-looking plants that just grow and grow. These beauties are quite hard to kill. They need little sunlight, and it's almost impossible to over water them. I highly recommend this house plant if you don't have one! They're easy to propagate by cutting the vine with clean scissors and then soaking the cut edge in water. Once it roots, throw that plant baby in some soil and Bam! You have a gorgeous house plant.

Monstera: This gorgeous plant is sure to make your home feel like a jungle right here in Billings and is a must have. Because they’re native to tropical areas, monsteras do best in bright, indirect sunlight, so place it in a room that gets plenty of natural light throughout the day, but not right in front of the window.

Angel Wing Begonia: This dinosaur-looking plant goes dormant for part of the calendar year, but when taken care of with indirect sunlight and light watering, these bad boys can grow up to 10ft tall! They have bamboo like stems, and giant, speckled leaves that are sure to make you feel like you're somewhere tropical.

Spider Plant: These wild creatures are exactly that- creatures. They take on a life of their own with tiny little vines that grow downward out of the pot. These make for great hanging plants, as you can cut the vines, place them in water and watch them root. Plant the spider babies in their own soil, and now you can have a family of them!

Bamboo: This is the plant of luck! And so easy to take care of. They like fresh soil every so often, light watering, and indirect sunlight. The leaves burn easily so make sure to not put this plant right in front of a window.

Snake plant: These look just like little snakes, rising from the floor as they grow vertical in length. These are one of the easiest plants to take care of and of course, the bigger the pot, the bigger it will grow. These
