Billings’ Angela’s Piazza Needs Spring Cleaning Supplies
It's that time of the year (groan) to clean all the windows, sweep out the garage, rake the yard and clean out the fridge. Even a little snowfall won't stop this yearly tradition. And the women and children who had weathered through abuse would benefit from a freshened-up house to complement a fresh new life.
And you can give the tools to accomplish this.
Angela's Piazza, a walk-in center for women and children, is accepting donations of cleaning supplies and implements to assist with their Spring Cleaning. These may include lots of things like laundry soap, wash cloths, mops, cleaning solutions, gardening tools and seeds, and trash bags. Whatever you use around the house, they likely need around their house.
It's Really Easy
You can certainly pick up the extra cleaning items during your next grocery trip. I took a little time after work to stop by my favorite store. A bucket, household cleaner, spray bottle, scrubber sponges, cleaning cloths and garbage bags. Made the purchase and was out the door in 15 minutes.
Did I mention being a total cheapskate? I get it, these are tough times. We are all persevering through this Inflation, and still can give a little for another human being. This quick bucket of cleaning essentials, picked out and purchased in minutes, cost only $12. That's it.
If you want to buy floor sweepers, vacuums, rakes, or large garbage cans and other major items, go for it. Every item will be greatly appreciated.
Another 30 minutes or so to deliver the housecleaning stuff to Angela's Piazza to complete this effort for a surviving lady and her kids to have more of a home.
A little time, a little effort, a little cost.
Is she worth it? Are they worth it?
