It’s a Celebration of Survivors at Billings’ Pack the Mall in Pink
Rimrock Mall celebrates the spirit of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this Saturday, October 14th from 11 AM to 1:30 PM in Center Court at the mall. Pack the Mall in Pink is a fun (and occasionally emotional) way to support local breast cancer patients and recognize the courageous survivors in our community. There is a raffle, a fashion show, delightful mocktails, a pop-up photo booth, yummy finger foods, and more.
VIP Tickets are just $20.
While the fashion show, raffle, and other activities are free, it's well worth it to buy a $20 VIP ticket, which includes access to VIP Mocktails and Hors d’oeuvres and a gift bag filled with goodies. 2022's gift bags were easily worth far more than twenty bucks. Ours included free pizzas, free sandwiches, free donuts, and lots of other fun stuff.
Check out the $3,000 diamond necklace raffle too.
Jensen Jewelers has donated a gorgeous 1ct., round, 89 faucet diamond 14 kt. rose gold necklace. The picture above doesn't do it justice... it's stunning. Tickets are $25 each or five for $100. See store for details or more info HERE. All proceeds from the necklace raffle benefit Pack the Place in Pink.
Pack the Mall in Pink helps support local Montana women.
Rimrock Mall writes, "100% of all proceeds from this event will go to the local non-profit Pack the Place in Pink. This organization is dedicated to helping breast cancer patients in Montana. All the models in the Fashion Show are amazing Warriors of breast cancer. We welcome the community to join us to support the fight against breast cancer."
An average of 920 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in Montana.
According to the Montana Department of Health and Human Services, breast cancer is the most common form of cancer among women in Montana. It's the #2 cause of cancer death among women and the age at diagnosis ranged from 21 to 99. 14% of female breast cancer cases were diagnosed in women under the age of 50.
