There are so many awesome dogs looking for homes at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter, including our featured Wet Nose Wednesday pet, Richie.

Meet Richie.
Richie is a medium-sized, five-year-old who weighs around 40 pounds. He arrived at the shelter as a stray and was not microchipped. (Note: this service is just $20 at YVAS, no appointment is necessary.) The shelter is calling Richie a Border Collie mix, and he's ready to adopt now.
He's playful, intelligent and gentle.
This dog is a gem. He knows how to sit on command (our bag of treats was an encouragement) and Lindsey Dillon from Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter said he behaves well on a leash and in the car. He'll likely get along great with other dogs and respectful children.
