Crazy Taco Community Celebration of Life For Kaj 10/5 in Laurel
Heartbreaking news for a popular Billings food truck.
Billings food truck fans, taco lovers, and local foodies are reeling from the recent passing of Kaj Clark, owner of the wildly popular Crazy Taco MT food truck.
His friends and family are hosting a Community Celebration of his life and everyone who loved him and his incredible tacos are invited to come enjoy the deliciousness on October 5th in Laurel at 11 AM, while supplies last.
Arguably, the best tacos in Billings.
I first heard about Crazy Taco MT food truck a few years ago, when a friend who knows how much I love great tacos mentioned, "You HAVE to try them! They're SO good."
The first time I tracked down Kaj's food trailer, I was honestly a little skeptical. I know... never judge a book by its cover. And I'm glad I didn't. My first order, I told him I like my tacos spicy. He recommended the Jamaican Me Twerk. I paid and patiently waited for my order of three street-sized tacos.
They. Were. Amazing.
Hooked on Crazy Taco, I would frequently drive across Billings when he posted where he'd be serving that day. When my brother came to town to visit once, I told him, "You gotta try this place out." Kaj was set up at Par 3 that day and my sibling and his spouse agreed that these tacos were some of the best they've ever had.

Crazy Taco won big at Tacos & Tequila 2023.
With stiff competition, Clark's unique tacos won both People's Choice and Judges Choice at the 2023 Tacos & Tequila event at Billings Depot. Unfortunately, Kaj was unable to attend the 2024 event, due to health issues.
An outpouring of condolences on social media.
The family shared on Facebook last weekend the sad news of Clark's passing, with 159 comments from friends and fans expressing their memories and thoughts.
Come out to Laurel on Saturday, October 5th for Crazy Taco.
His family and friends will be serving Kaj's famous chicken tacos, Jamaican Me Twerk tacos, and teriyaki tacos, beginning at 11 AM on First Avenue in front of the baseball field at Thompson Park.
SummerSnow SnackShack will also be on-site. A GoFundMe has been established to help pay for Kaj's medical bills and you can also donate during the event if you'd like to chip in. RIP, taco man. Your smile and contagious personality will be missed.
