Today is tax day; all Americans are responsible to have their taxes completed.

That is, of course, if you owe taxes. If you get a refund you can file an extension; but if you owe you still have to pay by today or pay fines and penalties.

The IRS is growing so large that we as taxpayers can't even afford the people in charge of taxes. In 2020 the operating budget for the IRS, according to their databook, was $12.3 billion. As of 2020 the IRS has 75,773 full-time employees and they say they need another 10,000. Remember all Federal employees that get full federal benefits keep adding to our tax bill every year.

There is no end in sight to taxes. Our Founders of this country knew that and now it has become a cancer that continues to grow every year.

How much longer are we going to stand for this? We haven't even reached tax free day yet. No one ever pushes for a balanced budget on the Federal level. We still have Base Line Budgeting in place where every government entity gets an automatic budget increase every year. No one ever tries to end that.

And then there are people like Jon Tester who think it's okay that almost 50 percent of the people in the U.S pay no federal income taxes but the others who do are not paying enough.

Folks, this reckless irresponsible spending at the federal, state, city, county, and school levels has to stop. We can't keep up. It will get to the point where people say it's not worth it anymore.

This wildfire needs to be controlled quickly or it will break all future generations.

We Stand With Emily.

See you tomorrow at 5 a.m.
