Songs tell stories and stories inspire songs.  Almeda Bradshaw will weave the two together in uplifting musical performances at LaVie Health in downtown Billings.

Stories and Songs for Life will be this Sunday, October 13th starting at 2:00 at the brand new LaVie Health building located at 2501 4th Avenue North.  These concerts will be on the second Sunday of each month.  Jessica Arndt will be Almeda's special guest this Sunday and the two women will share melodies and the experiences that guided them to the music.

Almeda Bradshaw is a multi-faceted talent inside a true Western woman.  She has written and performed songs at cowboy gatherings for over twenty years.  Studied piano and cello in college yet had taught herself guitar and stringed instruments.  She imparted her learning of guitar to students for years.  Along with the music, she has bred and trained performance horses, raised cattle, and managed a feed and seed plant business.

Well, if I'm inviting you to a musical picnic, least I can do is provide an appetizer.

Jess Arndt released the studio single "Burn It Down" in April this year, a theme song for breaking loose from the traumatic, debilitating past, and rising above the ashes.

LaVie Health opened their new facility in June this year.  Aaron Flint wrote about the grand opening and interviewed the CEO Cindy Nordstog for Montana Talks.  "LaVie continues to empower women through compassionate medical care for early pregnancies. We will continue to strive to make a profound impact and create a nurturing community where our patients feel supported and valued."  You can learn more about LaVie Health at their website.

Can I Come?

Absolutely!  You can RSVP to Almeda at 406-855-8191.  But you can just c'mon over to LaVie.  They'll find a space for you.

How Much Is a Ticket?

What ticket?  There is technically no cost, but we are asking for a donation, a "free-will offering" which will benefit LaVie and the women served.  $10 is a good start and every dollar above that, and really every dollar raised, will be mightily appreciated.

So after the Friday Night Lights and the college games, if you need a break from football for a bit, c'mon over for some music and storytelling.  And support the clinic that affirms the life in all.
