Harvest Festival 2024 is October 12 in Downtown Billings
Almost every Montanan will agree that Fall is one of the best times of year in the Treasure State. We seem to collectively take a deep breath as we unwind from a hectic summer. Routines are reestablished as kids return to school and most of us enjoy the cool nights and pleasant days, embracing all that is Fall.
Celebrate the Season at the 20th annual Downtown Harvest Festival, on Saturday, October 12th from 9 AM to 4 PM in the heart of Billings.
Shop, eat, drink, play.
Harvest Festival is always free, but you'll probably want to bring some cash for all the tasty goodies, drinks, and unique arts and crafts available. Over 40 food and beverage vendors are spread throughout the event this year, with everything from sweet to savory foods, drinks, and treats.
Harvest Fest also marks the final downtown Farmers Market of the season, so don't miss the chance to scoop up some bags of your favorite produce from local growers.
Entertainment and activities for all ages.
From the Wise Wonders kids' court to the beer garden at the Montana Brewing Company, Harvest Fest truly offers something for fans of all ages. Live entertainment under Skypoint this year includes the following performances:
- 10:00 am – Big Sky Chorus
- 11:00 am – Dancers from Greater Heights School of Dance
- 12:00 pm – Montana Witch Dancers
- 3:00 pm - TDS Fiber, Painted Pumpkin Contest Winners
The annual Stein Hoisting Contest is always fun too. Participants are challenged to hold a heavy beer stein at arm's length. Whoever lasts the longest, wins. The Stein Hoisting Contest begins at noon at the Montana Brewing Company beer garden.
The Downtown Billings Association provides this handy digital map, to help guests locate their favorite booths and displays spread over multiple blocks downtown.
Can I bring my dog to the Harvest Festival?
People always do - but like most Downtown Billings Events - dogs (unless they are certified service animals) are not permitted. Crowds can overwhelm most dogs and while you might think it's fun, your pooch probably doesn't. Please leave them at home this time.
