Charlie is a seven-year-old German Shepherd mix.
He's a big, tall boy, likely approaching 80 pounds. Charlie was picked up as a stray a while back and was quickly adopted out. Unfortunately, the adoptee received a reminder from their landlord of "No Dogs Allowed," so Charlie came back. A reminder for renters to be clear on their pet policy before adopting a pet.
Charlie might be approaching midlife, but he's got the energy of a puppy.
He's very active and will do best with a human or family that gives him lots of attention, plenty of activity, and regular exercise.

Derek Wulf, Human Outreach Coordinator at YVAS, said Charlie gets along well with other dogs and children, although he might accidentally bump toddlers over with his enthusiasm.
He's a handsome dog with a floppy right ear that adds to his charm.
Upcoming events at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter.
February is just days away, and the shelter has a couple of fun events coming up during the Month of Love. On Valentine's Day, you can send Tail-a-Grams starting at $20. They'll show up at a location with a card, candy, and a tail-wagging dog.
And one of Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter's most popular fundraisers, Bingo with Bingo, is scheduled for February. Check the shelter's Facebook page or website for details.
Big thanks to Advanced Employment for supporting animal adoption in the Billings area.
