Just in Time for The Brawl, ZooMontana Has Two New Bobcats
ZooMontana has had three Grizzly bears for some time. Now, things are balancing out a bit for Bobcat fans, as they just announced the arrival of two new cats. For the first time in the Zoo’s history, Bobcats will be calling ZooMontana home.
"But wait... Doesn't the zoo already have a Bobcat?" you ask. No, my friend. ZooMontana has a Canadian Lynx named Fierca, who came to the zoo in 2011 as a pet surrender. While similar to Bobcats, there are subtle differences. Learn more on my link below.

The newest feline additions at ZooMontana were orphaned in northwest Montana as young kittens. The male, now six months old, and the female, three months old, will remain in a behind-the-scenes area as animal care staff focus on building trust, strengthening their bond, and beginning foundational training.

The goal is for the duo to become ambassador animals, said ZooMontana officials in a press release, supporting its mission through education and conservation outreach.
