
FBI Issues Most Wanted Warning In Montana Drug Trafficking Case
FBI Seeks Mexican National In Gallatin County Drug Investigation
Montana has a quieter feel than most places in America, so when you hear about the FBI looking for a suspect connected to an international drug trafficking case, it perks up your ears.
The FBI is also hoping that you will be able to help them capture the Mexican national who is wanted for these crimes in Gallatin County.

Suspect Identified As Leobardo Peña Gutierrez In 2020 Drug Case
According to the FBI website and NBC Montana, they are currently looking for Leobardo Peña Gutierrez in connection to a drug case dating back to 2020.
Gutierrez allegedly was looking to sell methamphetamine between May and September of that year.
In 2021 a federal arrest warrant was issued here in Montana charging Gutierrez with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and criminal forfeiture.
FBI Physical Description And Identifying Details Of Suspect
The FBI listing on their website says that Leobardo Peña Gutierrez is a 5'8" White (Hispanic) male who weighs 190 pounds and was born on January 18, 1986.
While the FBI wants Montana residents to be on the lookout for Gutierrez, they caution you from approaching him, instead asking you to contact the FBI's Billings Field Office at (406) 248-8487.
