The United Way of Yellowstone County is teaming up with Montana State University Billings for an exciting volunteer opportunity on January 20th.

Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Legacy

The purpose of this day is to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through a day of service by preparing meals for distribution to those facing food insecurity in the local community.

Inclusive Volunteer Opportunity

Volunteers from various backgrounds are welcome to participate in this inclusive event that runs from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Participants will have the opportunity to work alongside organizations such as LIFFT (Living Independently For Today and Tomorrow) and Rainbow House, as well as collaborate with Family Service, the Montana Rescue Mission, St. Vincent de Paul, Family Promise, Off the Streets, Wander Women, and Tumbleweed to distribute the meals.

This day of service serves as a powerful reminder of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s commitment to spreading kindness and helping those in need.
