Family Fun on a Budget? MontanaFair Makes It Happen
If you've been thinking that a day at the fair sounds fun but your wallet begs to differ, good news: this year's MontanaFair is bringing the fun without blowing your family budget. Whether you've got toddlers, teens, or a little of both, there are some fantastic deals lined up just for families like yours.
Taste the Fair Without the Sticker Shock
Let’s be honest, fair food is half the reason we go. But trying to feed a family at the fair can add up fast. That’s where Taste of the Fair comes in. Running all 9 days of MontanaFair, this feature is located in the Carnival Lot and it’s all about flavor and savings.
Food vendors are offering $5 meal deals, each one serving up something special, so you can try all the fair classics (and maybe even a few surprises) without emptying your wallet. It's a great chance to share bites, try something new, and still have cash left for cotton candy.
Wendy’s Kids Day: Free Admission for the Littles
Mark your calendar for Wednesday, August 13 because thanks to Wendy’s, kids 12 and under get in free from noon to 5 p.m. This is the perfect day to pack up the stroller, grab your sun hats, and hit the fairgrounds early.

Teen Day Brings Big Fun for Bigger Kids
Teens sometimes get the short end of the stick when it comes to family events but not at MontanaFair. Thursday, August 14 is Teen Day, and it’s all about them. From noon to 5 p.m., teens aged 13–18 get free gate admission just by showing a student ID or driver’s license.
Trades for Teens Day: Where Fun Meets the Future
Also happening on Teen Day is Trades for Teens, an event that adds a dose of inspiration to the fairground adventure. Teens will get a hands on look at skilled trade careers, meet professionals, and try out activities that spark curiosity (and maybe even future goals).

Non-Stop Local Family Fun Night = Big Savings
Planning a night out with the whole crew? Monday, August 11 is your golden ticket. From 5 p.m. to midnight, you can grab a Family 4-Pack of gate admissions for just $30. Plus, ride wristbands are only $20 each, but that sweet deal is only good during those promo hours.
It’s a full evening of rides, snacks, and shows at a price that won’t leave you sweating at the ATM.
