I played in a softball tournament over the weekend. It was not a very pleasant experience. People on my team were angry and aggressive, and people on other teams were equally angry and aggressive. It has made me consider the idea of quitting the sport completely. Sports are supposed to be fun, it's not fun when the game ends in a fistfight.

It is just not worth it. None of us are good at this game, that's why we're playing on in a recreational league in Montana. We don't have a contract, we don't have a salary, why do these people think it is so important?

This desire to retire from recreational softball made me start wondering what the most popular sport is in Montana. While there is no data on the most popular recreational sport, World Population Review collected information on the most popular sport to watch in every state.

As it turns out, our favorite sport is NFL Football. In fact, NFL Football is the most popular sport in the nation. Taylor Swift might deserve the credit for this one.

Living in a state without an NFL team has its drawbacks, that's for sure. One of which is choosing who to cheer for. I, personally, am a Green Bay Packers fan...but that's because I'm originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
