If you're like me, you are dreading this time change. I hate... HATE, having the clock change twice a year. Just as I get used to it... BOOM, time to "fall back" or "spring forward". Ugh.

Haha, It's Fall Back Time! (BOO)

Of course, I'm not the only one in the world who thinks this is just plain silly. Originally, the idea of DST was created to have more daylight hours... reducing fuel consumption and coal consumption during the war. What war? World War I.

Know who started this silly thing? Germany, in 1916.

The U.S., in our infinite wisdom, followed Germany in 1918. Now, the rumor of the time change being due to farmers is just simply wrong. It's an urban myth... and not a very good one, if you ask me. Blaming our farmers for something so silly.

When, How, What, WHYYYYY

Officially, DST ends November 5th at 2 AM local time (MST for us). We'll be "falling back" an hour.

However, if you want to make sure you're not late to an important date, church, brunch, or even work on Sunday... you'll want to set the dumb (non-internet-connected) devices in your house back an hour before bedtime on Saturday, November 4th.

What Are Your Thoughts?
