These stores were staples of American culture during the 2000s and 2010s, but things are different now.
Well, we are about to lose another store.
Big Lots Closing Nationwide
The home goods franchise Big Lots will be closing 315 stores nationwide, including two locations in Montana.
Big Lots was a store where you could buy indoor/outdoor furniture, toys, sporting goods, and more.
It was a one-stop shop for many looking to update their dwellings.
Big Lots will close two of the three locations they have in Montana.

- Helena
- Great Falls
That leaves Montana with only one location left in Billings.
These closures are a bummer for many Montanans. Big Lots was a store that helped locals save money while purchasing large goods.
Big Lots is a place to get comfy and beautiful furniture for a fair price.
It's a highly underrated store that many don't know still exist. It's a shame because this store helped me furnish my first apartment after college.
We hope Big Lots will be able to rebound and reopen stores in Montana because, with inflation these days, we need a place to save us money.
