Love Tequila? Try This New Montana Brand

Montana is one of the best states for craft breweries, but we're also home to some great distilleries. 

In Montana, if you are looking for a good time, you don't have to go far. In Bozeman alone, there are several craft breweries to choose from daily, but there are also some incredible distilleries where you can go to have a classy drink. If you are a fan of the distilleries here in the Gallatin Valley, I have some fantastic news for you.

406 Agave is a new tequila company based in Big Sky, Montana, and is starting to hit shelves in our state. The brand wanted to make a tequila representinh the Spanish Peaks that are north of Big Sky. 406 Agave doesn't have a brick-and-mortar location right now, but we can't imagine that will remain true for much longer. 

Montana tequila is a rare breed among distilleries. The only other distillery we could find in the area that has tequila among its spirits is Bozeman Spirits in downtown Bozeman. 

Making a tequila can be tricky, and that's probably why most distilleries here in the Gallatin Valley area stick to whiskey, vodka, and gin. 

I have never been a huge fan of tequila, but over the past couple of years, I have slowly warmed up to the spirit. A good tequila on the rocks is something you can enjoy over some time, and I can't wait to try 406 Agave. Or I could buy it as a gift for someone and we could try it together.
