Just days after President Trump was sworn into office, and check it out- looks like the Border Patrol is kicking butt in Northwest Montana.

I've been talking about this good news all week on the radio, but then I realized- I need to share the good word with our readers as well!

Joee Taylor had a great report for the NonStop Local TV stations last week: Citizen reports lead to multiple Border Patrol arrests in Hungry Horse, Columbia Falls & Thompson Falls

The Hungry Horse News followed up with a report on Wednesday noting that "nine people were apprehended in the past week by the Border Patrol in Hungry Horse and Columbia Falls, according to posts on the agency’s Facebook page.

It looks like some local citizens are doing a great job of sharing info with law enforcement.

January 31st

On January 30, 2025, USBP agents from the Whitefish Station apprehended four illegal aliens near Columbia Falls, MT, as a result of a citizen's report. The subjects will be processed for removal from the United States.

January 29th

On January 27, 2025, USBP agents from the Whitefish Station apprehended five illegal aliens in Hungry Horse, Montana as a result of a citizen's report. The subjects remain in custody and will be processed for removal from the United States.

January 23rd
