He had rice cooking in the microwave...

And then Tyler jumped in with, "He has a 3 day beard that he doesn’t plan to shave either."

When you see the photos of country music great Travis Tritt in the beautiful Flathead Valley, how could you not start thinking about his hit song "It's a Great Day to Be Alive?"

Here's part of the lyrics:

I got rice cooking in the microwave
Got a three day beard I don't plan to shave
And it's a goofy thing but I just gotta say, hey
I'ma doing alright

If you're hanging out in the Flathead Valley...dang right you're doing alright.

You can see more photos and the full Facebook post below. Here's what Tritt had to say about the trip on Thursday: "My family and I had a wonderful time on our first trip to Whitefish, Montana! Such a beautiful place and we will definitely be going back."

More reactions:

Explore Whitefish: "So glad you had a wonderful time in our small mountain town! Come back soon!"

Kendra: "Snowmobiling in the mountains. It’s the best and most beautiful thing ever! My family and I go out west next month. Always looking forward to going every year."

Ronald: "Glad you enjoyed it, we're definitely blessed here! My family came to your show in Kalispell a couple years ago. It was great!!! Love seeing you with your family, making memories."

Sally: "One of the best concerts Lewistown, Mt ever had was Travis Tritt. Whitefish is gorgeous in the summer too especially Glacier Park.Glad you and your family got to enjoy our beautiful state."

Another one of my Travis Tritt favorites- "The Love of a Woman." And you have to wonder if kids today would even understand the reference of "here's a quarter, call someone who cares?"
