Montana Ranks In The Top 10 For Most Vacation Homes
You locals might not like to think of Montana as a vacation destination, but it truly is. Whether people are looking to enjoy the outdoors or get away from the big city, many tend to come to Montana.

According to this report by ipx1031, Montana actually ranks among the top 10 states with the most vacation homes.
Between 10-12 percent of homes in our state qualify as vacation homes, with the highest percentage areas being Silver Gate (just outside of Yellowstone) at 95%, Lindisfarne (on Flathead Lake) at 85% and King's Point (Flathead Lake) at 78%.
This number has the potential to even go higher with more visitors to our national parks yearly and more direct flights to bigger cities.
