Not a Frequent Flyer? Here’s What’s New at the Billings Airport
If you are a frequent flyer out of Billings, none of the info in this article will be new to you. However, if you're like me and only fly somewhere once every year or two, then you'll notice a few changes next time you're getting on a flight at Billings Logan International Airport.

Logan's Diner and the bar are both accessible pre-TSA. I don't think this is a new thing, but many people may not realize this restaurant is available to anyone, flying or not.
New TSA screening area.
One of the least favorite things about flying has been relocated at the airport... the TSA line/baggage screening area is now on the second level. For our recent 8 AM Sunday flight, the line was non-existent.

Coffee first.
As soon you leave the TSA area, the first thing you'll see on the concourse is Skyward Brews coffee shop.
Get some grub.
Large airports like Denver or Atlanta will have dozens of bars and restaurants. In Billings, we have essentially three options: Logan's Diner, Cinnabon, and Stacked - A Montana Grill. I failed to grab a picture of the high-tech robot servers. They didn't seem to be in operation when I walked by.
Sweet bathrooms.
A couple of years ago, BIL updated their restrooms and I must say they're the nicest airport bathrooms I've ever experienced. All stalls are completely private and have sinks, mirrors, and handy luggage hooks.
Animal-themed gates.
There is only so much you can do to freshen up an airline boarding gate, but Billings Airport has made ours unique with different animal artwork at each gate. As you can see above, Gate A3 is the "Mountain Goat" gate.
