Did you know Quitter’s Day is held on the second Friday in January? What exactly does that mean and are you about to be a quitter? Quit what? My job? Smoking and drinking? Too much social media? Yes, to all of those and then some. Are you ready to ditch those bad habits and things that no longer make you happy and say hello to a brand-new you?

If so, then this day is for you! Because Quitters Day is almost here. This day is celebrated on January 10th this year. This special day came about to celebrate those who are courageous enough to say goodbye to certain habits that no longer serve them. It could be playing too many video games or drinking too much and even shopping too much. Whatever your vice maybe it is time to let it go!

Strangely enough this day came to be because of a far less encouraging fact.  By the second week of the New Year, most people start to ditch their New Year’s resolutions at a very rapid rate. But, instead of seeing it as a day to quit trying, lets flip the script and cheer on those who are saying 'SEE-YA' to their much unwanted habits and 'Hello Hello Hello' to a healthier, happier, more fulfilling life.

 

So, if is gossiping, smoking, drinking, procrastinating, or too many naps is what you are ditching let's celebrate this super empowering day and all be quitters! They say don't stop before the miracle happens so don't give up on your new year new you! Keep on trucking along and don't be a quitter!
