The cold weather prevented an in-person Wet Nose this week. However, the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter is still going strong, and for the Holiday season, they've discounted all of their adoption fees for dogs and cats. That sounds like the perfect way to bring home a pet for the entire family for Christmas. The YVAS also has a featured Wet Nose they'd like to share with you all. Meet Fantasia!

Fantasia is a female, 3-year-old Cane Corso mix.  Fantasia is a beautiful dog with a sleek body and piercing eyes. When she first arrived at the shelter, she was unsure of the staff and seemed a bit hesitant to trust us. However, with time and patience, Fantasia slowly began to warm up to us! Despite her initial reservations, Fantasia has a playful and affectionate nature. She loves nothing more than chasing after a tennis ball and playing with her human companions. However, Fantasia can be a bit selective when it comes to her dog friends and tends to prefer the company of calm, respectful dogs. Fantasia is a very intelligent dog and responds well to training. She listens attentively to her person and is always eager to please. However, due to her powerful breed and energetic personality, Fantasia would do best in a home with an experienced owner who can provide her with the exercise and structure she needs. While Fantasia is a great companion, she would prefer a home without children as she can be a bit overwhelming for younger kids to handle.

Fantasia is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to head to her fur-ever home!  She is being housed in a separate area of the shelter - if you are interested in meeting/adopting her, please speak with a staff member at the front desk.
