PopCrush readers named Meghan Trainor's "Me Too" as 2016's official Song of Summer, but Spotify's metrics are painting a different picture.

With more than 757 million streams earned between June 1 and August 31 — a figure that's exceeded the second-place finisher by more than 100 million listens — Drake's "One Dance" featuring Wiz Kid and Kyla is the season's undisputed champion, Spotify has reported. More, Drake also landed at an eventual 25 songs-long playlist at No. 6 with "Too Good" featuring Rihanna and at No. 25 with "Controlla."

"Drake’s ‘One Dance’ is impossibly catchy and by late spring had positioned itself as the one to beat," Spotify trends expert Shanon Cook said in a statement. "[Summer 2016 songs] helped shape a summer sound that was upbeat, edgy and memorable."

Just edged out by Drake were Calvin Harris' "This Is What You Came For" featuring Rihanna, Sia's "Cheap Thrills" featuring Sean Paul, The Chainsmokers' "Don't Let Me Down" featuring Daya and Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop The Feeling," which landed at Numbers 2-5, respectively.

Fifth Harmony, Twenty One Pilots and Adele also earned spots on the list.

In early June, when Spotify had just begun observing the summer's trends, the service predicted "Can't Stop The Feeling" would reign supreme by Labor Day. Still, it also forecasted that "One Dance" and Ariana Grande's "Into You" would be very serious competition. "Into You," incidentally, has landed at No. 15.
