A Billings teen with Down Syndrome who is not being allowed to enter her senior year and graduate has been blowing up local social media, and the School District isn't saying anything about it.
It's about that time of year when graduation ceremonies, well-wishes and job-hunting begin. Fountain pens and diamond earrings are wonderful and traditional graduation gifts but sometimes something practical can truly be the best option. So send off the graduate in your life with something they'll not only cherish and love because it came from you but they'll actually use on a regular basis!
Just before we wrapped up our conversation with School District 2 Superintendent Greg Upham in Billings, I figured I better ask him a couple more quick questions. Will there be a prom, and will there be a graduation this year? Graduation yes. Prom no.
