Students are rappelling off the rooftops at the University of Montana in Missoula and Montana Tech in Butte. This is pretty cool to see what the Montana Army National Guard is doing on our college campuses.

The men and women of the Montana Army National Guard's 163rd Combined Arms Battalion and 631st Chemical Company are finally coming home. Big homecoming ceremonies are planned for Thursday in Bozeman and Missoula, along with smaller contingents at airports across the state.
"During the flood rescue and recovery operations that occurred in June of this year, Mr. Ewald allowed the Montana Army National Guard to use his hanger facility at the Red Lodge airport and provided a variety of logistical support to the aircrews conducting rescue operations."
A woman from Townsend, Montana, and a member of the Montana Army National Guard has now completed both Ranger School and Airborne training with the US Army.
