From the wide-open prairies and river bottoms in eastern Montana to the soaring peaks and mountain valleys in the western half of the state, the view around here isn't too shabby. I've lived in the Treasure State for most of my life and the beauty of Montana still makes me say "wow" almost every day...
One place you may want to reconsider taking photos is the railroad track. While it may seem absolutely gorgeous if the photos work out, going out to take photos there may cost your wallet or your life.
I'd never visited the Boothill Cemetery, so I had no clue the historical significance of the former Coulson graveyard. My curiosity soon got the better of me, and I had to visit and learn more about the site.
When I rounded the corner from third street onto 27th Street the magnitude of the movement came into full view: easily 1,000 people were gathered on the sidewalk and in the park adjacent to the Yellowstone County Courthouse.
It seems that everyone here at the station is excited about school getting back in session - probably because we aren't the ones going back! LOL
