Billings will host one of only 12 Navy Weeks planned across the United States this year, coinciding with the Yellowstone International Airshow featuring the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.

The Blue Angels are set to headline the 2026 Yellowstone International Air Show. To build excitement for the event, the Blue Angels will perform a winter flyover in Billings on January 16 at approximately 12:30 PM.

The submarine captain and the sailors of the USS Montana are coming back to Big Sky Country in September. They'll be featured at events from Helena to Great Falls, Fort Benton and at the University of Montana.

What a campaign slogan from the Sand man- "Life's a Beach, Vote for Sand." Remember when we told you about this beast from Glasgow, Montana playing rugby at the US Naval Academy? He just got elected class president.

I was at an event up at a hangar at the Billings airport recently...the hangar door was open so I could look out and see the runway, the wide open plains, and the pine trees off in the distance...and it took me back to one year ago and the incredible air show featuring the US Navy's Blue Angels.
