The Top 10 Highest-Grossing Yet Poorly-Rated Films Of All Time

Just because a movie makes a bunch of money at the box office, does not in fact mean that it is GOOD by any means. Leave it to the internet to take it to the polls and have the people vote! A website Ranker.com had people do just that. People voted for the WORST OF THE WORST MOVIES EVER that made at least $1 billion and here is what they found. But the polling isn't open to all the billion-dollar movies ever made. This is just the ones with bad Rotten Tomatoes scores.  In order from the worst to the worst here's are the Top 10 voted by the people:

1.  "The Lion King" (live action).  Gross:  $1.7 billion and has a Rotten Tomatoes Score:  51%.

2.  "Star Wars: Episode 9 - The Rise of Skywalker".  Gross was $1.1 billion.  Rotten Tomatoes Score:  51%.

3.  "Jurassic World: Dominion".  Gross:  $1 billion.  Rotten Tomatoes Score:  29%.

4.  "Aladdin" (live-action).  Gross:  $1.1 billion.  Rotten Tomatoes Score:  51%.

5.  "Transformers: Age of Extinction".  Gross:  $1.1 billion.  Rotten Tomatoes Score:  18%.

6.  "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom":  Gross:  $1.3 billion.  Rotten Tomatoes Score:  47%

7.  "Transformers: Dark of the Moon".  Gross:  $1.1 billion.  Rotten Tomatoes Score:  35%.

8.  "Alice in Wonderland".  Gross:  $1.1 billion.  Rotten Tomatoes Score:  50%.

9.  "Despicable Me 3".  Gross:  $1 billion.  Rotten Tomatoes Score:  59%.

10.  "Minions".  Gross:  $1.2 billion.  Rotten Tomatoes Score:  55%.

Do you agree with any of these? I personally have no opinion either way given I have not seen most of these movies. I did see Despicable 3 but I thought it was a cute! Maybe I just have poor taste in movies. That could very well be it. Hard to say.

Sidenote: when I think of Aladdin Live all I can picture is Pete Davidson and Kim K. on SNL. Can't unsee that one and it was the start to their short-lived romance.
