These Emojis Could Get You Banned from Facebook and Instagram

Both Facebook and Instagram have been making updates to their standards and using these emojis in a sexual manner can get you banned.

Did you already guess which two emojis could get you into some social media hot water?

According to a recent story from the New York Post:

Under the new terms — which were officially enacted in September — pairing an eggplant or peach emoji with any expression of what Out.com deems “being horny” now qualifies as “Sexual Solicitation.”

As far as what happens when you use these emojis with additional sexually explicit content:

“[Content] will only be removed from Facebook and Instagram if it contains a sexual emoji alongside an implicit or indirect ask for nude imagery, sex or sexual partners, or sex chat conversations,”  - Instagram

Before you think that Instagram and Facebook are just targeting defenseless emojis, nude photos where emojis cover genitalia, butts or female nipples are also now formally not allowed, as are any links or info leading to pornographic or otherwise adult material.
