What Happened to All the Arcade Bars in Billings?
Adult Arcade Bars in Billings-Where are they?
Sometimes you want to let your inner child out to play, and arcade games are a great way to go. I’ve noticed Billings doesn’t have a Dave and Busters, which I think would do well here. Who doesn’t love Pac-Man, or the basketball hoops? It’s some fun, friendly competition and we need more of this stuff here in Billings. But I hear violence ruins all the fun...
Billings Arcade Bars in the Past
Magic City used to have the Plaza Arcade Bar and Grill located over on Broadwater, but it went through a couple management changes. The building remains empty, and looks like prime real estate. This arcade bar was previously known as Bones. For whatever reason, the businesses that have opened at this location never seem to be successful.
You may not believe in bad omens, but I do. Perhaps the location has "bad energy." There's reports of violence at these arcade bars, and again- I hate that violence ruins all the good places to let loose in Billings.
Future for Arcade Bars
I personally think Dave and Busters would do well here in Billings. But apparently to have a Dave and Busters in a city, there has to be around 750,000- 1 million people within 1-2 hours of the city for them to open a location. So that idea is out. We have a Chucky Cheese for the kids, but what about us adults? Pizza Ranch has some old school arcade games, but again not the biggest selection.
Some other arcade games live at these locations around town:
All Fun and Games
Bullwackers Lounge
The Monte
