I ordered a smart watch online to pair with my Android phone and it's giving me flashbacks of my nerdy "Casio Databank" days (you might have to google that one). After playing around with it, it's apparently good for two things: Notifications and telling time. Not much else. If mine had a heart rate monitor, like most, it would also be good at telling me how out of shape I am and perhaps recommend a gym for me.

There are those who say that virtually everyone will be wearing one of these five years from now. Just like the evolution of phones, they'll get smaller bodies, nicer screens, faster processors and more functionality.

So what do you think? Are these just nerdy toys, or are they here to stay? I have to admit, for the $120 I paid for this one, I'm not disappointed.
