Yesterday’s “Bewitched in Billings” Haunted Hot Spot

If you're playing along with our "Bewitched in Billings" Contest, hopefully you knew the answer for yesterday's local haunt.  Before the Crowne Plaza took over the old Sheraton Hotel building on 27th and Montana, the bell clerks who worked the overnight shift reported an odd series of events.

According to local legend, the front desk would receive a call from one of the elevators every morning around 2:30 am.  When the desk clerk answered the call, nobody was on the other line.  When security guards checked the elevator, they didn't see anything.  Finally, after the calls kept coming in for several weeks, one of the desk clerks decided to call the elevator just before 2:30 am and someone picked up the phone.  When those same security guards checked the elevator again, no one was there.

These days, the Pop Crush studios are located on the 23rd floor of the building.  As disturbing as the "elevator ghost" may have been, our DJ's are even more frightening.
