    Fairy Lake

    Fairy Lake is a short drive from Bozeman and offers a variety of outdoor activities for the entire family. It is located at the base of the Sacagawea Peak in the Bridger Mountains.

    Directions:

    • Head north from Bozeman on Bridger Canyon Rd.
    • Between mile markers 21 and 22, turn left on Fairy Lake Rd.
    • Drive to the end of the road. The road is rough and conditions vary depending on the time of year. A vehicle with high clearance is recommended.

    West Yellowstone's Aerial Adventure Park

    Corral your family and make your way to Yellowstone Aerial Adventures in West Yellowstone. Your all-access pass includes in-and-out privileges, so you can do a little climbing in the morning, take a break for lunch and sightseeing, then come back and fly down the ziplines in the afternoon.

    Zoom down more than 1,000 feet of cable over the course of four ziplines. Challenge yourself with 49 different ropes course and get in-and-out privileges to the park, so you can explore at your own pace.

    • This course is suitable for people of all abilities, aged 6 and up.
    • A Junior ropes course is available for ages 4 and up (additional cost); small children (2 and up) can visit the Yellowstone Mining Company to pan for arrowheads, fossils and gemstones.

    Float the Madison River

    The Madison River is a great place for the entire family to beat the summer hear. Towards the end of the summer, the water levels drop and the Madison becomes a great place for a relaxing float. Make sure you take along life jackets for safety.
