One of my favorite pastimes here in Billings on a weekend is to go out to some place in town and enjoy Karaoke. Heck, back from 2011 through 2015 I even ran Karaoke in my hometown, to give options for those on weekends wanting somewhere to go out.

However, those days have mostly come and passed for me. I far prefer staying home, kicking back on the couch with some kettle corn, and watching a movie or two. Though... this got my attention!

Golden Mic Lands In Billings

Coming to the Red Door here in Billings this week, you can participate in the Red Door Golden Mic Karaoke Competition! Hosted by the Red Door & Black Tie Productions, it's just $20 to enter... and the prizes are worth the entry fee!

Auditions are January 25th & 26th from 7 to 9 PM. The Top 5 nightly will move on to the finals on January 27th at 7 PM.

You can register during normal Karaoke hours (Monday through Saturday 9 PM to 1:30 AM) or message Black Tie Productions at 406-208-2016.

Note: You should come prepared with at LEAST 3 songs. Judges will evaluate based on voice, style, and performance/stage presence. Only 13 spots are available each night, so register soon!
