Update 7/11/23:

After multiple comments about the juveniles being released on our Facebook pages and the Billings Police Department Facebook Post, we reached out to BPD for answers. Matthew Lennick, BPD Administrative Lieutenant, replied back to my inquiry with the following statement:

There were no charges filed on those juveniles. The case is still open, and they are working on identifying other involved suspects that were not initally detained or located.

(Editors Note: We're not sure as to why the Billings Police Department did not issue an update to this incident, nor are we sure when the juveniles were released. They are not releasing any more information at this time.)
