Wendy’s New Pumpkin Spice Frosty Isn’t Great, Billings.

After the last few months of taste issues, in the last week and a half MOST of my tasting ability has returned. Which, I am extremely grateful for, as I was flat tired of eating boring foods.

So, imagine my excitement tonight when I picked up a good ol' Wendy's Baconator for dinner and saw "Pumpkin Spice Frosty" on the menu. You know I am gonna try it.

Pumpkin Spice All The Things...?

The Pumpkin Spice craze comes every year around the holidays. According to Food Network, there are just as many options this year... if not more. Such as...

• Cookies
• Drinking Chocolate
• Ground Coffee
• Coffee Creamer
• Cake Mix
• Rolls
• Popcorn
• Almonds
• Biscotti
• Cup Noodles
• Chai Tea
• Cookie Spread
• Butter
• Bread
• Yogurt
• And MUCH more.

Wendy's Joins The Craze

In ordering tonight, I saw it on the menu and thought "Why not? It can't be that bad!"... because I had grabbed a Pumpkin Spice Latte from miscellaneous coffee shops in town before and it was alright. Would I drink it all season? No. (And I don't have the money to buy a $6 coffee daily anyhow)

So, here's what I got from Wendy's. A Pumpkin Spice Frosty.

The color sure screams "Pumpkin Spice", and the first taste was... overwhelming. I'm used to the Frosty being a "Mild to Medium" flavor, not too strong but almost perfect levels. This was a BLAST to my taste buds. When compared to other Pumpkin Spice things, such as a Latte, this is EXTREME.

How extreme? I couldn't handle more than a few spoonfuls. It's now living in my freezer, to try again tomorrow... where it'll likely end up poured down the drain, never to be ordered again.

Honestly, the first taste made me sit back in my chair. It is that strong. And not in a good way, at least to me.
