The new relationship trend is to try injecting some fun into your relationship by celebrating an "arbitrary anniversary." What does that mean you ask? Well celebrating things like the first time you cooked together, or the first time you used the bathroom with the door open. That might be a little much, but it is on the list!

So, the question is would you do this? If you would like to reinject or just inject some FUN into your relationship, try celebrating an "arbitrary anniversary." It's all about minor milestones or even just random silly fun events.

This is right up my lane because the weirder they are, the better. For example, celebrate the day you binge-watched your first show together, or the first you went on an adventure to the great outdoors.  This is trending after a writer for "Popsugar" did a story on it. But it turns out a relationship expert came up with it all the way back in 2021. The name she gave it might just need a little work . . . "arbitrary-versaries." Horrible name if you ask me.

The whole idea is you're creating additional excuses to celebrate each other, and your relationship, in all its weirdness.

But they say it doesn't have to be weird. It could the cute, sweet moments too. The day you knew you had a crush on each other, the day you went on your first trip, the day you slid into their DMs, or the day you first saw each other your sleepwear.

Celebrate the small things because all the small things add up to the beautiful big thing called love!
