Happy National Love Your Pet Day! A recent poll has found the top ways that we show our fur babies we love! Having a furry pal is truly one of the best gifts in life. Even when they are naughty and chew up our things and pee on all over the house, jump on the counters and sneak out of the yard we still love them unconditionally. The top ways to show your 4-legged pal you love them are as follows!

1. Playtime. 15% of people said playing with their pet is the top way they show them love. Well of course it is! They need the love and the interaction with us daily!

2. 13% said giving them treats and gifts. I am one of those dog moms who over treats. He goes outside. Treat. He looks at me with those sweet big eyes. Treat. He almost does a trick. Treat.

3. 12% said Cuddling them. I wouldn't say I force my dog to cuddle but, sometimes I can tell he does not want to be held like a baby, but I still do it. You are my baby now let me hold you.

4. 10% said telling them "I love you". We all do this! Some do it in a baby voice and others just blurt it out randomly. The point is we all say it and mean it.

5. 10% Just hanging out with them. Like watching TV together. My dog Action Jaxson (pictured below) LOVES him some tv. If I get in his way boy oh boy do I get the side eye and the look of WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! MOVE!

6. Next, it's a three-way tie between carrying on conversations with them . . . giving them kisses . . . and letting them sleep in your bed. Not going to lie I do all three of those at once.

7. Taking them to places like parks and beaches got 5% of the vote.

And 2% said the top way they show their pet some love is by dressing them up in costumes. I sure try to dress him up, but he acts like it is a form of punishment and just falls over in the dead dog pose.
