Nick Jonas Wins Acuvue Inspire Award at 2013 Teen Choice Awards for His Diabetes Support Efforts
Nick Jonas nabbed the Acuvue Inspire Award at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards tonight (Aug. 11). He was honored and recognized for his tireless efforts to educate people about Type 1 diabetes, which is a disease from which the younger Jo Bro suffers.
Jonas took the stage to accept his surfboard, saying, "Living with Type 1 diabetes is a struggle every day." But he said that he is able to get through it and enjoy life thanks to the support of all of his fans and his family.
Ya hear that, Jo Bro fans? Your love helps Nicky J navigate diabetes a little bit easier. How sweet!
