What’s the Best Place in Billings to go Black Friday Shopping?
Despite a fairly negative view on Black Friday across Montana, there are still definitely those shoppers who are willing to bust down doors in the early morning after Thanksgiving. But where are the best deals and the best places to go Black Friday shopping in the Magic City? A study from WalletHub shows the shops with the best average discounts, but some shops on that list aren't in Billings. So, I've only found the ones that we have right here in town.
#5 - Big Lots
This entry shocked me a bit, because I thought that Big Lots had gone out of business a while back. However, their store in the Heights is still open, and the average discounts are around 33% according to the WalletHub study. So, not a bad start.
#4 - Target
Coming in at #4 is actually a tie with Big Lots in the study. Target's average discounts on Black Friday are also around 33%, so if you feel like waiting in infinitely longer lines, Target is the place to go. There are two stores in Billings: one in the Heights and one on Central Avenue across from the mall.
#3 - Kohl's
Head over to Shiloh Crossing on Black Friday to take advantage of some of Kohl's deals, which average out to around 44% off. I think I still have a gift card to Kohl's somewhere in my possession, but I'd have to look for it. If I find it, you'll find me there.
#2 - Office Depot
Another company that I haven't visited in a long time, Office Depot and, by extension, Office Max has some excellent deals on Black Friday. Their deals average out to discounts of basically 50%, so if you need some new office supplies, give them a shot.
#1 - JCPenney
Ah, JCPenney, we always come to you when we want good deals on clothing. But it's also the number one place to go for the best Black Friday deals at a whopping average of 64.7% off. Line up, everyone.
