Yesterday a co-host commented on my dressing nicely.  "You have a hot date later today?" he teased.  I responded that I need an interested lady before I can have a hot date.  The ribbing even went on air with all good humor.  The brief discussion had me thinking about online dating and creating a profile.  What would mine look like?

Earlier I had posted my radio profile in two parts with questions from the company.  For a dating profile, I researched a couple websites for questions and picked some.

Here are my brief answers:

What are three things you are thankful for?

My first two are Who, not What.

1.  God and Jesus Christ, for all they have done for me.

2.  My Family, whom I love and will stand with, because we all get along wonderfully.

3.  A frugal upbringing that keeps a roof over my head and food in my belly.

What new things would you like to try on a first date?

How about dance lessons?  I really enjoy dancing for the fun exercise.  And I would like to try whatever the lady enjoys in, so long as it's not illegal, immoral or too dangerous.  Fattening is okay.  I will kindly pass on getting myself a tattoo.

What kind of music do you listen to the most?

80s pop mostly.  I like songs from various times and genres that get my heart and my car to go a little faster.  Can take some classical music and found epic orchestral to be good and dramatic.

Do you like small talk?

Not really.  I prefer thoughtful conversation and an exchange of ideas.  I will respect the lady and her views and would like mine acknowledged.

Do you see yourself living in a small town in ten years?

Yes Please!  The closer to nature the better.

What's the last thing you do every night before you go to sleep?

My first answer was "Um, brush my teeth."  But lately I play with the kitten Nyx for a few minutes as I lie in bed.

There, a brief profile on top of the other two I have done.

Miss, do You have a question for Me?

Feel free to send a quick note to travis.lee@townsquaremedia.com.  I may use your question in a future post.  I do reserve the right to say "Sorry, that's private."
