What Movies Make You Cry?

I love a great movie as much as the next person. I will tell you that I rarely cry during movies, though I will admit I cried at the end of "Toy Story 3" when Andy gave away his toys and during "Steel Magnolias" and "Fried Green Tomatoes." Brett and I watched "Green Book" last night. I cried, and I love watching movies that are based on true events.

This move has been hailed as the "feel good movie of the year." It takes place in 1962 as a famous black concert pianist named Don Shirley goes on tour from New York to Alabama and back. He hires a bodyguard, with mafia ties, Anthony “Tony Lip” Vallelonga to drive him. This movie has everything from humor and racism to anger and new friendship.

"Green Book" is essentially about a snooty, rich gay black pianist and an Italian American mafia guy from the Bronx, who manage to change each other's lives for the better and become friends for life.

I don't care what the critics say, I'm giving "Green Book" two thumbs up.
