Can I be honest? Some years I don't get too excited about the headliners at MontanaFair. I'm not saying this to be mean or snarky... everybody has different musical tastes and finding bands or acts that will please everyone (and fit with the MetraPark budget) for the fair year after year has got to be a challenge.

Other years, I'm like "Dang... they're all going to be good!" That's how I feel about the 2023 Montana Fair lineup. Rockers Chevelle returns to Billings at the fair on August 11. Contemporary country star Carly Pearce takes the stage at First Interstate Arena on August 12, and Ludacris will ignite the crowd on August 13.

I'm most excited about Ludacris.

We've already had some phenomenal hip-hop shows come through Billings this year, and more are on the way with the Y2K show featuring Ja Rule and Ashanti on October 7. Ludacris on August 13 is going to be awesome. I mean... here's a guy with a career spanning over two decades, with dozens of hits. Not to mention his segway into acting. The Atlanta-born rapper and actor has left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry.
