Do you like piña coladas and gettin' caught in the rain? If so today is your day! Today is National Pina Colada Day! Aside from the adult version of the drink the flavor itself is a fan favorite across the board. Especially when it comes to Ice Cream!

Instacart shared another round of stats, and this time it is on America's top Ice Cream orders.  And this is very fitting on National Piña Colada Day.

They say that the most ordered ice cream flavor in America is vanilla. Checks out.  Followed by chocolate, cookies-and-cream, strawberry, and mint chip.  The top TRENDING ice cream flavor is pineapple coconut.  Pineapple coconut ice cream saw a 37% boost in sales last year.  Pistachio is next at 25%, and then green tea at 24%.

They also took a look at the most popular flavors overall, and you can probably guess what flavor took the #1 spot....

Here in Montana according to their very scientific research from Taste Of Home Smore's is our favorite flavor. I did a bunch of googling and turns out not really a thing in most of our local shops. So, if you want it, you can find it at Target and Wal-Mart and other big-name stores. Or you can always build it yourself at various shops with all of their goodies to top off that chocolate or vanilla or whatever flavor your little heart desires!
